We're Stephanie and Shawn from The Hammock Shop in Langlade, Wisconsin. We make beautiful, handcrafted hammocks and bags from exceptionally high quality fabrics that are of commercial quality.The Hammock Shop was started in the happy confines of a friend’s basement over 9 years ago. With the love and support of some very special friends and guests, it took root and it continues to grow...just a little each and every year.

We go to great lengths to find and to purchase unusually high quality fabric remnants from Midwest manufacturers and turn them into high quality, individually handcrafted creations with a professional look and feel. We believe that a positive future for all of us depends upon our individual choices to buy well-made, American products whenever possible.  All of the products, both here on this website and at our shop, are deserving of the the "made in USA" label.  

Over the years, our friends and guests have helped greatly by sharing a little “word-of-mouth” about The Hammock Shop. They continue to bring new orders by sharing their thoughts about our nice hammocks, our handcrafted messenger bags, and our fun, friendly, outdoor shopping experience.
