Locally Handcrafted

Our products are individually handcrafted here at The Hammock Shop in Langlade, Wisconsin. In most cases, the materials that go into these great hammocks are purchased locally. We use high-quality remnants of commercial upholstery fabrics from local manufacturers. We use American made rope and thread. We purchase the steel hanging hardware from a small business nearby. We enjoy the face-to-face contact with our suppliers and are proud to support other American manufacturers and local retailers.

Limited Packaging

We use absolutely no packaging for the hammocks that we make and sell here at our shop. When we ship, we use just enough to ensure that your hammock will arrive safely and no more. We feel that we could all benefit from a renewed interest in locally made, handcrafted products that reuse materials, limit packaging, eliminate waste, and above all, make people feel happy.
