The beautiful cranberry-colored fleece used to line these partiular hammocks was originally used by a Wisconsin manufacturer of athletic gear. Sadly, they were unable to compete with Chinese imports and put this great fleece up for sale. The Fleece is unusally thick, very resistant to wear, and surprisingly quick to dry. Fleece-lined hammocks are unique to The Hammock Shop. This great style was invented, by us, over 9 years ago and continues to be one of our top-selling hammock styles. The exterior shells of these wonderful hammocks are made using Olefin fabric. Olefin fibers have low moisture absorption, that means that they wick moisture and dry very quickly Olefin is abrasion, stain, sunlight, fire, and chemical resistant. One of the most important properties of olefin is its strength. It keeps its strength in wet or dry conditions and is very, very resilient.
